Viking Embroidery Machine

The real name of this machine is the Husqvarna Viking embroidery machine and is the product of a very reputable manufacturer. This company have manufactured high quality sewing machines and all their related products in Sweden since 1872.

Throughout history embroidery has been used to embellish clothing and other objects. Think of all the beautiful church vestments and altar cloths, think of all the medieval wall hangings, tapestry´s etc. everything benefits from some sort of decoration.

I could not believe my eyes when I saw the Precious Crochet designs, I have seen hand crocheted designs like this but I never would have believed it possible that a sewing/embroidery machine could produce such designs.
