Husqvarna Viking Embroidery Machine

Husqvarna Viking is a Swedish company who have, since 1872 in Sweden, been producing quality sewing machines and all their attendant accessories and products.

One of the Husqvarna viking embroidery machine models is the Platinum 955E. This machine is absolutely perfect for enthusiastic sewers who want to move on to something a bit more creative. To let their imagination run riot if you will. They don’t actually have to tax their imagination, there are many many designs already produced from the imagination of others.

This machine comes with d-Cards which will give you 70 beautiful designs suitable for any number of projects, also an optional d Card reader/writer and a 4-d organizer through which you can have access to huge amounts of embroidery designs.

There is professional software that you can buy so that you can create your own unique embroidery designs. There is the ability to create mirror images or to rotate designs end to end, plus many other ways to change the look of a particular design.

You can actually change the size of the design by just touching the stitch size button!

There is no guesswork when you use the Platinum 955E the machine works out the top thread tension for every kind of stitch you use.

There is a wonderful sensor which automatically stops the machine sewing or embroidering when the thread runs out or if it breaks.

I cannot begin to list all the functions that this machine performs. It is mind boggling.

There is another Husqvarna Viking embroidery machine, the Diamond. I just daren’t tell you how expensive this machine is. It is definitely an ‘all singing and all dancing’ kind of machine. People are drooling over it when they have seen a demo, but with a price tag near to $9000 I don’t imagine too many people can just trot down to the store and buy one.

This style of machine, to my mind, is only for people who intend to use it as a professional tool. To produce items to sell. That is certainly the only way that I think I could justify buying one.

I am sure it is embroidery perfection and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone who has that kind of money just waiting for another machine to buy.
